St Marks Church was redundant, in sound structural condition however in a poor state of repair.
The church was converted to provide some 14,500sqft of office space on three floors, and some 1,200sqft of storage space in the basement.
Little change was allowed to the external appearance of the building, but internally great skill was exercised by the Architect and Structural Engineer in designing a structural frame to carry the new floors whilst at the same time creating interesting space which allowed through views of the fabric of the old church.
