Design Philosophy:
The successful completion of many projects of diverse nature, including several projects with a value exceeding £50m, is based on a sound management structure, the personal involvement of directors, a highly responsible approach to client need, and the determination to achieve well designed, cost effective solutions completed on time and within budget. Our process of design incorporates in depth consideration of client requirements, of design team selection, consideration of the physical and legal constraints and skilled architectural design, to maximise the opportunity to achieve a building that is efficient in operation, economical in use and gives pleasure to occupants whilst being within budget. We make every effort to create conditions which encourage the optimum performance of all members of the design team. We are also concerned that the end product is value for money, and we therefore aim to ensure that value judgements and cost appraisals of all aspects are undertaken at the appropriate stages of the design. To achieve this aim of particular importance are the recommendations with regard to low maintenance of fabric and systems.
