Terry Reynolds

Managing Director

Terry is responsible for technical development at Tweedale, including service delivery. He is an experienced Project Manager and Architectural Technologist in both the Public and Private sectors with the last 19 years in Private Practice as a Director. He was elected Managing Director of Tweedale Ltd in 2005.

Terry developed the accredited company Quality Management system for Project Management in 1996 and is the Director responsible for Health and Safety matters. The Company have maintained their accreditation since that date and are now compliant with ISO 9001:2008 for the Project Management of Building and Civil Engineering Works.

Terry is an accomplished golfer and has captained his Club on two occasions.

Michael Bates

BA(Hons) Dip.Arch RIBA FFB

After spending time in a contractors design department, in Local Authority and a variety of private practices, Michael was elected to RIBA Membership in 1985. He became a Director of Tweedale Planning and Design Group in 1991 and was part of the team that affected a successful management buyout of that company’s Midlands business in 1997, when he became Director of Architecture at Tweedale.

Michael has broad experience in many building and project types and a great depth of design and technical knowledge. Through long association with Tweedale’s in-house Chartered Town Planners he also has an inherent understanding of the planning system.

He is a member of “The Green Register” has received Stroma training in the “Code for Sustainable Homes” and in 2009 Michael became a Fellow of the FBE.

Michael enjoys foreign travel and is an enthusiastic amateur musician; “chord bashing” in a local rhythm and blues band.

Jonathan Astley

BA (Hons) Dip.Arch MA IMaPS RIBA

As a Director of Tweedale, Jonathan is committed to the production and delivery of quality architecture. He motivates and inspires a proactive approach to design. Jonathan has a proven track record and experience from conceptual design through to completion of projects. He is also a registered CDM Co-ordinator. Jonathan has considerable experience in a wide variety of project types and particularly in the fields of Education and Leisure.

Jonathan takes an active role in the Faculty of the Built Environment as Chairman of the Black Country and Telford Branch.
